A woman was stranded in the airport because she missed her flight. This meant that she had a long night ahead of her, stuck with strangers in a huge place. Instead of being super upset about having to spend the night there when she’d rather get to her destination, Mahshid Mazooji decided to have a little fun!
She turned on her video camera, blasted her music and ran all around the airport dancing. Booging to Lionel Richie’s 1983 single, “All Night Long”, she shows off her moves in between riding up and down the airport escalator, in between pretending to weigh her backpack, and while visiting vendors in the airport.
She encouraged other passengers who were also there late because of the layover to join her. Even late-night employees got in on the fun! Everyone is smiling and dancing, forgetting all about all their frustrations of being in an airport.
Mahshid posted the video on her YouTube channel, and it has gone viral! The airport tweeted about how she helped turn a negative situation into something positive and uplifting. Over one million people viewed her video and commented on how her energy was so contagious. She put a smile on faces all across the world and challenged viewers “dance their troubles away”.
