Cancer Fighting Toddler Sings Overcomer by Mandisa

Lindsay Chapman-Carrol shared a video online of when her toddler sings ‘Overcomer’ by music artist Mandisa, and the video’s gone viral!

Lindsay shared a video of her daughter, Leah, singing while in the hospital getting treatment for cancer.

On Facebook she wrote,

“My daughter has overcome two bone marrow transplants. She has spent the last 322 days away from her family and mostly in the hospital due to complications. However, she has the joy of the Lord and a love for music. Overcomer is one of her all time favs! Someone suggested I share it with you personally! She is such a light to all she meets….I hope she brings a smile to your face, too!”

Mandisa’s fans shared the video with her like crazy, wanting to make sure the singer saw the sweet girl. Leah And the artist responded in the most beautiful way.

Mandisa said, “Omigosh! It brought a smile to my face, tears to my eyes, and joy to my soul! Lifting up prayers for Leah right now! Would you mind if I shared this on my page?” Lindsay replied, “Oh my goodness! Thank you and not at all! Share away! Leah is one of God’s aces! Let Him shine through her and your music ♡♡♡” Then Mandisa said, “Awesome! Leah’s light shines so brightly! As evidence, tons of people messaged me to make sure I saw this precious angel! I sure hope I can meet her soon. I’ll be in Sacramento in May. Let me know how she’s doing around then.”

Since the video was posted, Leah had the exciting experience of sharing her joy with Mandisa! She was so cute and obviously a little overwhelmed to be on stage. Anything that will encourage this little one to keep up the fight and to grab those moments of joy wherever they may be is alright with us!
