When you’re a new parent sleep can be hard to come by. That’s why this napping dad had no idea that he wasn’t holding his baby when he heard its cries. While sleeping in his recliner, this papa started patting his imaginary baby’s back to keep it from crying. You can tell that he’s done this a time or two before.
It’s probably safe to say that all new parents have sacrificed a good night’s sleep for the sake of caring for the new baby. Sometimes that lack of sleep can catch up with you, leaving you incoherent and confused. Even though new parents sport diaper bags along with the bags under their eyes, they wouldn’t trade their new addition for the world. This is exactly why we got a kick of this loving dad trying to catch a snooze and take care of his baby all at the same time.

If you have kids, we are sure that you can relate to this exhaustion that comes with raising them. This father’s actions sum up parenthood for many of us: Even though we may be tired and exhausted, we will never stop doing what it takes to take care of our little ones.
We wish nothing but the best for this family. Every parent deserves a break every once in awhile. And maybe when the time is right, this little one can head over to grandma’s house so that mommy and daddy and finally catch up on some much needed rest.
