Louise Bonito was celebrating her birthday when she got a little too enthusiastic blowing out her birthday candles!

The family had gathered on Mother’s Day to celebrate Louise’s belated 102nd birthday (April 26).

“We were just singing ‘happy birthday’ and we were all gathered around,” Bonito’s granddaughter, Lisa Addario, said. “She blew out the candles and her teeth just flew out!”

Everyone was in stitches seeing Grandma Louise’s teeth sitting on the table.  It made the moment that much more enjoyable with everyone laughing together.

“I took a deep, deep, breath and with all my might I blew out the candles and then my teeth came out,” Bonito said, with a laugh. “Well my grandchildren went crazy laughing, and laughing.”

The moment struck the entire family as quite comical. They all enjoyed a round of laughs at Louise’s flying teeth. Granddaughter Lisa had filmed the entire thing, expecting only the sweet experience of her grandmother blowing out the birthday candles. After the excitement of flying teeth and the laughter that followed, Lisa posted the video to social media. Within a day it had gone viral and the joy was being spread to thousands!

Birthday Candles Don’t Require Glue

When asked how she thought it happened, Louise told the family that she didn’t feel like putting in all the glue that day. Grandma Louise had a very good reaction to the moment.  Instead of being embarrassed as some might, Louise had just as good a laugh as the rest of the family!

“What can I tell you about my family? I have five children – four boys and one girl. I have 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, which thank God they come and I’m in close contact with all of them. There’s a lot of love here. I always say ‘I’ve been blessed.’

There’s so many problems in this life and I’m so glad that with this there can be laughter,” Bonito said.

What a memory! That will be a birthday the family will never forget!
