Students Were Dancing At A Mall When The Police Arrived
Students from Spectrum Community School threw an awesome flash-mob dance party when Police Officers arrived on the scene. They too came to party!
Saanich Police know how to get their funk on. “Uptown Funk” that is. In a collaboration with students from Spectrum Community School, the local police department participated in a cleverly choreographed flash mob. As if it weren’t perfect enough, the location? Uptown Mall.
What started as a small group of students dancing quickly grew as more and more groups jumped in throughout the song. While onlookers enjoyed the dancing, things got a little nerve-wracking with the police showed up. Were they going to shut the fun down? No! They were in on it the whole time. Within moments, more than a dozen Saanich police joined in to show off their dance moves. Not to be out done, even the precinct mascot, Ace participated!
