10-Year-Old With Autism Creates Cute Video To Explain Why He Is ‘Different’
Alex Bittner, a 10-year-old with autism, posted this video for autism awareness to explain why he is “different”. In his video he talks about some of his hobbies, his strengths, his weaknesses and some of his sensory issues. People with autism have heightened sensory issues and it can cause them to react in ways that seem like bad behavior, especially for a child. Which can in turn cause people to not be understanding and react in such a way that only makes those with autism have an even harder time expressing themselves.
Alex opens up about how difficult it is to be in social situations and how it makes him feel when people don’t treat him like he is normal.
Being different makes the world more diverse. If everyone was the same then the world would not be very interesting.
He seems to have a wisdom beyond his years and such an understanding that people should all be accepted for who they are without being judged for our unique differences. He is a truly inspiring little boy who sees the world through beautiful eyes.
